This race is supposed to hav ethe best race prizes in Ontario.
The 50K distance is still considered an Ultramarathon and can be used as a valid on qualifications however is is no good enough to meet the Badwater Application Requirements.
I am doing this race as a filler after not being able to compete in the Furnace Creek 508.

Step 2 - Haliburton Forest 100 Miler
The race is located on the Tip of Algonquin Park in Ontario Canada.
The course is 80% Single Track and 20% Rolling Dirt roads.
I queried some of the other racers at Sulphur Springs and the concensis is Haliburton Forest 100miler is a tough one due to the technical single track.
One racer I talked to, dropped out last year, at the 75 mile marker.
This race is listed on all the major ultra sites around the world as a quility race.
